Matchweek 6 was packed with surprises for some of the teams and their verses.
#FootBallKnowItAll
Fulham vs Watford
Within 87 seconds Andre Gray opened the game with an impressive goal for Watford. With an assist from Will Hughes, the striker managed to get the ball past goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli. He, however, kept the score 1-0 as Gray tried to pounce on Alfie Mawson’s poor back pass. While not managing to score a single goal in the first half they brightened up in the second half. It was only after 78’ that Fulham managed to equalise. While receiving 2 yellow cards from Mawson and Fosu-Mensah Watford accumulated only one. Both Watford and Fulham remain in last week’s spots.
Cardiff vs Manchester
Cardiff didn’t only lose, they got a hiding from City on Saturday on home grounds. Scoring goal after goal after goal City didn’t suppress their winning spirit for one second. After pocketing his 300th appearance for the City, Sergio Aguero was assisted by Bernardo Silva for their first goal at 32’. Not only did Silva assist he scored his own goal 3 min later, doubling their chances of winning. Ilkay Gundogan also participated in their goal scoring and netted a ball just before halftime. Mahrez tallied up their points as he scored at 61’ and 89’ for City which resulted in them moving up a spot to second place. Cardiff is still sitting on 0 wins for the season and moving down o 19th place.
West Ham vs Chelsea
And then there was one.
Chelsea stepped onto the field expecting a win but instead, West Ham stood their ground and it ended much differently. After winning all 5 of their first games their perfect score was terminated. Dropping from 1st to 3rd West Ham gave them a run for their money. The Hammers, Michail Antonio, attempt was blocked on 31’ from goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. Chelsea’s first substitute, Alvaro Morata, opportunity came right after he entered. However, his endeavour was blocked by Lukasz Fabianski. West Hams break came at 13’ AS Andriy Yarmolenko headed Robert Snodgrass’ cross from 6 yards out. Ross Barkley also tried his best but his last effort goal was stopped by Fabianski.
Ending in a draw which kicks Chelsea out after their first take on of the #1 spot. This also results in West Ham moving down one as they are waiting for another opponent which will help them accumulate some points. Matchweek 6 just wasnt Chelseas week.
Liverpool vs Southampton
Liverpool went on to retain their flawless start to the season. Southampton didn’t make it hard as they even they contributed to Liverpool’s 6th victory. Wesley Hoedt deflection exchanged into an own goal at 10’ from Xherdan Shaqiri. Shaqiri Also celebrated his first PL start for the club as he was involved in 2 of the 3 first-half goals. Another goal came from the Reds. Joel Matip headed a corner ball on 21’. Mohammed Salah had ample attempts and then carried out his loyalty towards his team with a goal at 45+3’. Thus ending the game before the first half concluded. Liverpool takes back their #1 spot, with 6 wins and another well-played game behind them. Well done Liverpool winning 3-0.

Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a
daily basis. It will always be interesting to
read through articles from other authors and practice a little something from their sites.
