As it stands Arsenal and City will qualify for the 23/24 Champions League season but will 4th place lose their spot? Only 5 English teams are allowed to participate in the UEFA Champions League according to their rules.
United, Spurs, The Magpies, The Reds, The Seagulls, and The Bees are all in the race to compete for 3rd and 4th place to qualify. However, depending on the outcome of Chelsea and United’s performance, the 4th spot on the Premier League table will miss out on the opportunity.
Ten Hag side has won half out of their last 6 games, drew 2, and lost 7-0 to Liverpool. The Red Devils have kept their third-place seat warm for the past 6 match weeks.
Chelsea on the other hand has won, drawn and lost 2 matches each, sitting in 10th place as we speak.
If they perform well in the domestic and European stages, only the top 3 will be placed in the Champions League.
The tension is building as only 8 points are separating the third and eighth place.
Hot on United’s heels, with only 1 point difference, is Spurs. Newcastle is behind with 7 points difference and Klopps team is tied with Brighton and Brentford on 42 points.
As it stands Arsenal, City and Manchester and Spurs will qualify for the Champions League. But playing for the Premier League isn’t the only way into the Championship.

If Chelsea and United manage to secure their victories in their respective leagues, that means only 3 teams out of the Premier League will be able to qualify.
Chelsea and Real Madrid are facing off on the 18th of April to see who will move on to the semi-finals.
Man United will play Sevilla a few days before the quarter-finals in the Europa League.

Their draw on Saturday against Southampton caused even more uncertainty.
Opta predicted that Tottenham will finish in 6th place overall.
The two teams below Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle, seem to have a better chance of securing the fourth spot on the table, due to the two games in hand they have over Spurs.
Conte went on to rant after their loss at Southampton saying that they could finish lower than 6th if the same mentality is shown for the rest of the season.
"There are 10 games to go and some people think we can fight. Fight for what with this spirit, this attitude, this commitment? What? For seventh, eighth, 10th place? I am not used to this position.
"I'm really upset and everyone has to take their responsibility. Not only the club, the manager and the staff, the players have to be involved in this situation because it is time to change this situation if Tottenham want to change.
"If they want to continue in this way, they can change the manager, a lot of managers, but the situation cannot change. Believe me."
